Dear TDK Family,

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to participate in our Book of Remembrance which we hope to make an annual publication. This unique book, which commemorates the memory of departed loved ones, will be used throughout 5785, on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Pesach and Shavuot when Yizkor is recited. It will contain the names of those you wish to remember.

The list of names serves as a way of acknowledging the importance of our link to those who are no longer with us, and the contributions they have made in our lives. The Yizkor Books will be used throughout 5785, on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Pesach and Shavuot. 

Within the Yizkor prayer, El Malei Rachamim, it states that the worshiper resolves to contribute to a charity in remembrance of their loved one’s soul. By participating in this mitzvah, you have the opportunity to connect “l’dor vador” – from generation to generation.

The cost of memorializing a loved one is $25 per name.
